Dollers was originally a catalogue of all the dollers on dA in, god forbid, alphabetical order. Vayliya did most of it herself when people would note her, or if she stumbled across another doller. She would then favorite what she thought were the best pieces and then would submit a new deviation on this account with a link to the original work. Basically exactly what groups do now without the automation. It was a lot of work, but always worth it. It still is.
We at Dollers believe in allowing everyone to express themselves but we request you follow a few guidelines:
Be respectful of other members. As the saying goes, treat others the way you want to be treated. Regardless of what personal feelings you may have towards anyone in the group, please keep it exactly that: personal
Be helpful. If another member needs help or requests a critique, we encourage you to help them out. Giving helpful advice or CC helps us grow together as dollers and improve our dolling talents.
If you have an issue please message a staff member directly. We are not only here to run the group, but to help out its members, regardless of whether you need a question answered or help with a problem involving another member of the group.
You may submit your own work as well as others. Any doll you see that you think deserves some attention is allowed here.
You may only submit 2 pieces a week! Make sure they are your best! This is automatically moderated by the group system; however, if you want to suggest another artist’s work and have met your submission limit, message a staff member and we’ll be happy to help out.
When you submit a doll, make sure you are submitting it to the correct folder or else we may have to reject it. This doesn’t mean we don’t want the doll at all, just that it wasn’t submitted to its proper place.
Dolls that have been made on traced bases ARE allowed, but traced bases themselves ARE NOT unless they have been traced with permission.
